India's generosity, tolerance should not be mistaken for weakness: NSA Ajit Doval on Operation Sindoor

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has clarified that India's generosity and tolerance should not be misconstrued as a sign of weakness. In his first interview since Operation Sindoor, Doval emphasized that India is capable of taking risks and responding forcefully, regardless of the consequences. The 88-hour military operation, which took place on May 7 last year, aimed to destroy enemy camps, specifically those responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack.

Doval stated that the mission's objective was to eliminate these camps and send a clear message that India can be both generous and tolerant, yet not weak. The two-part docuseries "Declassified: Operation Sindoor" features first-hand accounts from India's military and national security leaders, recounting the decisions and events surrounding the operation.
