Aurangzeb, PDA chief discuss digital transformation

Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb engaged in a discussion with Pakistan Digital Authority Chairperson Dr Sohail Munir, focusing on digital transformation, financial technology, and measures to enhance technology-driven access to finance for economic growth. Aurangzeb stressed the significance of adapting existing frameworks to keep pace with digital advancements and new business models.

The pair delved into the necessity of a supportive framework that acknowledges digital transactions and promotes the broader integration of digital processes in commerce and finance.

The conversation extended to strategies for enhancing financial access via digital platforms and more streamlined operations.
