Woman dies after suspected heart attack in Penang crash

A 36-year-old woman passed away after suffering a suspected heart attack during a car crash in Penang, Malaysia. The incident occurred on Macalister Road near Yummy Cottage restaurant, where the woman's vehicle collided with two parked motorcycles. Timur Laut police chief Abdul Rozak Muhammad stated that the accident unfolded outside the restaurant and was widely documented in a viral video on social media.

Rozak noted that the woman was the sole individual involved in the crash, while the motorcycles in the footage remained stationary and had no riders. She was promptly transported to Penang Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The police suspect that the woman experienced a heart attack during the accident.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the exact cause of her demise. The case is being probed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which pertains to causing death through reckless or dangerous driving.
