Woman dies after suspected heart attack in Penang crash

On today's Macalister Road in Penang, a 36-year-old woman tragically lost her life after reportedly suffering a heart attack while driving her car into two stationary motorcycles. The incident, which occurred outside Yummy Cottage restaurant, was extensively documented in a widely shared video circulating on social media. According to Timur Laut police chief Abdul Rozak Muhammad, the woman was the sole individual involved in the accident, while the two motorcycles were parked by the roadside and had no riders present at the time of the collision.

Emergency responders transported the victim to Penang Hospital, where she sadly perished while receiving medical attention. Rozak stated that the woman's death was believed to be a result of a heart attack that occurred during the crash. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of her death. The circumstances surrounding the incident will be investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which pertains to charges of causing death through reckless or dangerous driving.
