Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean to Headline Global Citizen Festival 2026

Global Citizen has announced that Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean will headline its 2026 festival, set to take place in Central Park’s Great Lawn. The popular duo, celebrating their 30th anniversary, will perform a special show for Fugees’ iconic album The Score. Accompanying them on stage will be a distinguished lineup of artists, including Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey, and Tomorrow X Together.

The festival, overseen by Hugh Jackman, who serves as this year’s Global Citizen ambassador, aims to gather people in New York City to demonstrate that the end of extreme poverty is achievable. Jackman expressed his excitement in a press release, stating, "It’s time to gather once again on the Great Lawn, in the middle of New York City, to tell the world an end to extreme poverty is possible.

There’s something every one of us can do to change the world, and what better way to participate than by taking action with Global Citizen, earning those points, and celebrating with a day of music and advocacy to close out the summer. See you there!" The announcement comes after a successful World Cup Halftime Show held by Global Citizen.
