Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark help Fever continue hot streak with 106-92 victory over Liberty

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Fever defeated the New York Liberty 106-92 on Tuesday night. Kelsey Mitchell led the way, scoring 20 of her 28 points in the first half. Caitlin Clark contributed 22 points and 10 assists. Indiana shot 59% from the field and 79% from 3-point range, taking a 64-46 halftime lead. They maintained their lead, allowing no double-digit margin to slip away.

Mitchell finished 11 of 16 from the field and made four 3s. The Fever also had 16 points from 25 3-point attempts. Cunningham added 12 points, and Aliyah Boston had 19 points and seven rebounds. The Liberty, led by Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart with 19 points each, rallied to cut the gap to 66-57 with 6:51 remaining in the third quarter. Indiana regained control with a 15-7 run in the second quarter, extending their lead to 54-37.
