Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark help Fever continue hot streak with victory over Liberty

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana Fever's Kelsey Mitchell led the team to a 106-92 victory over the New York Liberty on Tuesday night, scoring 20 of her 28 points in the first half. Caitlin Clark contributed 22 points and 10 assists.

The Fever, who have won seven of their last nine games, shot 59% from the field and 79% from three-point range, taking a commanding 64-46 halftime lead. This victory followed coach Stephanie White's fiery pregame outburst, which seemed to energize the team.

Bristol, CT (AP) — In a separate matchup, Las Vegas ended Washington's seven-game winning streak with a 106-92 win. A'ja Wilson led the way for Las Vegas with 26 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks, while Jackie Young added 25 points and eight assists.
