Google’s Pixel 11 trade-ins top out at $1,000 with great values for older phones

Google has increased prices on its Pixel 11 series, but has also delivered solid trade-in values for all four phones in the lineup, including some great deals for older generations. The RAMageddon in the tech market, driven by AI companies, has led to higher starting prices and increased base storage for the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro.

To soften the blow, Google has introduced excellent trade-in values this year, with the maximum reaching $1,000 for the Pixel 10. To attain the full $1,000 value, one would need a heavyweight trade-in, such as the Pixel 10 Pro Fold or the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The trade-in values are capped at the device's value, so a $899 Pixel 11 will only yield a maximum of $899 in value.

Despite these price hikes, there are still some very good values for older devices hidden within the trade-in options. Trading in a Pixel 4a for a Pixel 11, for example, yields $150, and an iPhone 11 from 2019 can fetch $200. While there are no standout figures like in previous years, the overall trade-in values are solid and offer decent prices for older generations of Pixel, Galaxy, and Apple hardware.

These values are based on unlocked, base storage models. Outside of the US, there are also great deals in the UK, where a Galaxy S10+ trade-in is worth €455, equivalent to $30 in the States. Amazon and Best Buy also offer trade-in deals for Pixel 11 devices, with Amazon providing an additional $250 on top of trade-in values and Best Buy offering up to $1,000 in gift cards for the purchase of various devices.
