Qatar detects 27 individuals who submitted false certificates for healthcare licences

Qatar's Ministry of Public Health has taken decisive action against 27 individuals who attempted to falsify their experience certificates while applying for healthcare practitioner licences in the first half of the current year. This move was initiated during the ministry's rigorous screening process, which meticulously verifies applicants' credentials before issuing any licenses.

Dr Saad Al Kaabi, Director of the Department of Healthcare Professions at the MoPH, revealed that the falsified certificates were detected during this critical preliminary screening stage. This early verification process aims to identify any fraudulent credentials before a licence can be granted. The ministry, in collaboration with specialized institutions, ensures the authenticity of applicants' academic qualifications and professional experience by cross-checking the information submitted.

By implementing such stringent checks, Qatar is committed to maintaining the highest standards of healthcare, ensuring that only qualified international practitioners are permitted to work within the country's borders.
