New Flyover in Karachi to Open for Traffic Soon

Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah recently toured several significant infrastructure projects in Karachi to assess their progress. The minister, accompanied by Dr. Wasim Shamshad and other officials, inspected Shahrah-e-Bhutto, the Korangi Causeway Bridge, and the Korangi No. 5 flyover. At Shahrah-e-Bhutto, Shah examined the development and beautification efforts on adjacent roads and instructed authorities to expedite the construction.

He also reviewed the connection loop between Shahrah-e-Bhutto and DHA, along with the link road leading to Ayesha Mosque, urging officials to expedite the completion of this corridor. Shah emphasized the importance of this road for local residents and the necessity of its timely opening. Additionally, Shah inspected the Korangi No. 5 flyover, which he stated had reached its final construction phase.

He indicated that the flyover would soon be accessible to traffic, alleviating congestion for commuters in the Korangi area. At the Korangi Causeway Bridge, Shah assessed the construction work on Roads 12000, 13000, and 20000, as well as adjacent service roads. He directed officials to accelerate the progress on major road infrastructure projects and cautioned against any unnecessary delays in executing development schemes.

Shah expressed confidence that authorities were working diligently to complete these projects ahead of schedule, driven by directives from the Sindh chief minister.
