Hassan Karim sokong titah Agong siasat laporan RCI TH ‘hingga lubang cacing’

Hassan Karim wholeheartedly supports the Agong's call for an investigation into the findings of the Royal Malay Investigation Agency (RCI) Tabung Haji (TH) report, extending it to the point where it reaches the "bottom of the snake" (lubang cacing). The MP from Pasir Gudang urges the Attorney-General, prosecution, and National Prosecution Department (AGC) to take decisive action against those responsible for the loss of approximately RM10 billion to TH.

He expresses his willingness to discuss these matters openly in the Dewan Rakyat, from morning to night, if necessary.

Hassan agrees with the Agong's suggestion for the investigation to include key individuals in TH's top management, such as the former chairman, former chief executive officer (CEO), former chief financial officer (CFO), board member, and senior management staff. He emphasizes that there must be an investigation, and if there is sufficient evidence and proof, they should be prosecuted in court.

If the wrongdoing is proven, they should be imprisoned, as the RCI report indicates that TH has incurred losses amounting to RM10 billion.

He also presents the 2017 financial report of TH, which was revealed in the RCI, where the institution reported a profit of RM3.4 billion, while subsequent audits found it to have actually incurred a loss of RM1.4 billion. "This is a mistake. There are many more issues related to the 2017 financial report alone. What legal violations did TH commit, making it a criminal offense?" Hassan asks.
