The governor, who is seeking a second term, spoke about the achievements of his administration in sectors such as road construction, healthcare, and workers' welfare. He addressed criticism of his dancing at public events and his political rivalry with former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, who he defeated in the 2022 governorship election.

Adeleke claimed that Oyetola was using his relationship with President Bola Tinubu to cause problems in the state and that he remained confident that Osun residents would resist any attempts at intimidation.
