AR Rahman's son AR Ameen has shared an update on a minor car accident that occurred in Chennai, assuring fans that he is safe and doing well. The playback singer, who is son of the renowned composer, took to Instagram on Monday, August 10, to express gratitude for the messages and prayers he received after the incident. Ameen clarified that he was not driving at the time of the accident.

He was traveling to the airport in a friend's car when they were involved in a minor collision. Ameen was seated in the passenger seat at the time of the incident. According to his sister Khatija Rahman, who clarified the details of the accident on her Instagram story, Ameen was traveling towards the airport with a friend, and another vehicle ahead of them had proceeded through a red signal, resulting in a minor accident.

All individuals involved in the collision, including Ameen, his friend, and the occupant of the other vehicle, were reported to be safe. Khatija urged media outlets to verify details before publishing reports about the incident, as unverified information could cause unnecessary alarm.
