PN cadang sidang khas RCI TH ditangguh sehingga PM pulih

Perikatan Nasional (PN) has proposed a special Parliament session to present the report of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the Tabung Haji, which was originally scheduled to be delivered tomorrow but has been postponed until Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim recovers and can attend the Dewan Rakyat. Takiyuddin Hassan, the Whip of PN, stated that the presentation of the report should be made by Anwar personally given his previous involvement in raising the issue.

The importance of the matter, involving the public interest, necessitates the Prime Minister to deliver the report, according to the statement. Anwar's presence in the Dewan Rakyat to present and explain the RCI report is highly significant, not only for accountability and transparency but also to ensure the public receives a comprehensive and thorough explanation regarding the issue raised by the Prime Minister himself earlier.

PN has submitted a formal letter to Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, Johari Abdul, requesting the postponement. The letter was officially received by the Speaker's office earlier today. PN also requests Anwar and Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof to receive prompt recovery so they can resume their usual duties. The session tomorrow aims to provide a platform for Members of Parliament to discuss the findings of the RCI related to the management and administration of Tabung Haji.
