Perikatan Nasional (PN) has petitioned for a special parliamentary session to present the findings of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on Tabung Haji, which was initially scheduled to be announced tomorrow. This decision comes after Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is expected to recover from illness and be able to attend the Dewan Rakyat. According to PW's Whip Takiyuddin Hassan, the decision to present the report independently by Anwar is justified as he is the one who initiated the issue to the public.

The importance of this matter and its impact on public welfare make it crucial that the report's announcement be made by the Prime Minister himself, according to the statement. Takiyuddin stressed the significance of Anwar's presence in the Dewan Rakyat to present and clarify the findings of the RCI report. This is not only important from the perspective of accountability and transparency, but also necessary to ensure that the public receives a comprehensive and comprehensive explanation regarding an issue that the Prime Minister himself has previously raised.

PN has submitted a formal letter to Dewan Rakyat Speaker Johari Abdul, requesting the postponement of the session. This request has been officially received by the Speaker's office today. PN also requests Anwar and Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof to receive a speedy recovery so that they can resume their duties as usual. The special parliamentary session scheduled for tomorrow aims to provide Members of Parliament with the opportunity to debate the RCI findings related to the management and administration of Tabung Haji.
