Kantanka family thanks Ghanaians for support during Kwadwo Safo’s funeral

The Kantanka family, along with the Kristo Asafo Mission and its members, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ghanaians for their support and goodwill during the funeral and final rites of the respected industrialist and religious leader, the late Apostle Emeritus Professor Ing. Kwadwo Safo. This gratitude was conveyed by the late Apostle's daughter, Hon.

Sarah Adwoa Safo, at a thanksgiving service held at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi, marking the conclusion of the funeral proceedings. She acknowledged the generosity of individuals, institutions, traditional authorities, religious bodies, and sympathizers who stood by the family throughout the funeral period, providing comfort and enabling a befitting farewell for the late Apostle.

The service brought together members of the Kristo Asafo Mission, friends, admirers, and sympathizers to honor his life, faith, and contributions to Ghana. Among the dignitaries who attended was former Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who described Apostle Safo as a father figure who treated him like a son, consistently offering counsel and encouragement.

Dr Bawumia also highlighted the late industrialist's strong belief in African nations' ability to develop their own solutions and overcome challenges through innovation and self-confidence, emphasizing the importance of enterprise and determination in advancing society, based on the legacy left by the late Apostle. A remarkable moment of the gathering was the appearance of a rainbow in the sky, which several worshippers interpreted as a comforting and symbolic sign during the celebration of the late Apostle's legacy.
