Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini rules out alliance with SAD, says BJP’s tie-up is with people of Punjab

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has firmly dismissed the notion of a poll alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), stating that the BJP's alliance is exclusively with the people of Punjab. This assertion arrives as there are rumors of a potential SAD-BJP coalition, sparked by the recent SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal's meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

Saini, who was speaking to the media after distributing monthly assistance to beneficiaries in Haryana, firmly denied the possibility of an alliance, asserting in Punjabi, "No, there is no such thing." He further emphasized that the Prime Minister is the voice of the 140 crore citizens of India, and anyone can meet him for discussions on various matters.

Saini also pointed out that the BJP has formed its government in Punjab, a stance he is confident in due to his interactions with the people of the state.
