Warga emas melecur 50% badan dibakar di kedai nombor ramalan

At around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, a 62-year-old woman sustained severe burns - estimated at 50% of her body - after being doused with petrol and set alight by an unidentified man at a number prediction shop in Sentul, according to Sentul Police Chief Jasni Zolpa. The incident occurred at Taman Pusat Kepong and was reported to IPD Sentul via MERS999.

Upon receiving the call, IPD Sentul dispatched a team to the scene. The victim, who was working as a cashier at the time, suffered extensive injuries and was immediately transported to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for treatment. She is currently listed as critical but stable. Initial investigations revealed no apparent enemies or prior threats against the victim, and the motive remains under investigation.

Forensic Unit of IPK Kuala Lumpur also joined the scene, collecting DNA samples and related items to aid the investigation. The police have launched a special operation to track down the suspect, and the case is being probed under Section 326 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
