Trevor Lawrence Addresses Jaguars Dealing With Outside Noise Before Season

Trevor Lawrence, the star quarterback of the Jacksonville Jaguars, addressed the team's preparations for the upcoming season amidst external noise. Lawrence emphasized that the team would not let outside expectations interfere with their internal goals. Last year, the Jaguars won the AFC South with a 13-4 record and made their first postseason appearance since 2022.

These achievements have set high expectations for the team in the upcoming season. Lawrence said, "I think that means you're doing something right if there is some level of expectations around your team." He reiterated that the Jaguars would focus on their own standards and not on the noise from outside. The Jaguars had a healthy Lawrence last season, who played all 17 games, threw for 4,007 yards, and had 29 touchdowns.

However, their playoff run ended against the Buffalo Bills, who went on to win the AFC Wild Card Round 27-24. Lawrence's performance was crucial, as he threw three touchdowns but also had two interceptions. The Jaguars will continue practicing at the Miller Electric Center in Jacksonville and start their preseason on August 15 against the New Orleans Saints. Their regular season begins on September 13 against the Cleveland Browns.
