Man Utd working on deal to sign Leicester teenager Page

Manchester United are in negotiations to sign 18-year-old Leicester City midfielder Louis Page, according to recent reports. The EFL Apprentice of the Year winner is considered one of the most promising talents outside the Premier League. A versatile England Under-20 international, Page has made 21 senior appearances for Leicester, including five starts during their Championship relegation battle last season. His most recent appearance came in a Carabao Cup victory over Northampton on Saturday.

Reports suggest that Arsenal and Aston Villa have also expressed strong interest in the 18-year-old, who turned the age last month. This development comes as Leicester has already lost another promising youth prospect, 17-year-old forward Jeremy Monga, who joined Manchester City. Page signed professional terms with Leicester in September 2025, and his transfer fee will need to be agreed upon with the League One club.

At the time of his signing, Leicester described Page as one of the brightest talents in their academy. He made his senior debut in August 2025 against Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup. Known for his elegant style of play and ability to find crucial passes, Page's impressive debut season saw him score twice in a pre-season friendly. With his maturity beyond his years and tactical understanding, Page is set to become a key player at the top level.
