Man Utd working on deal to sign Leicester teenager Page

Manchester United are in the process of negotiating a deal to sign Leicester City teenager Louis Page. The 18-year-old midfielder, named EFL Apprentice of the Year the previous season, is considered one of the most promising talents outside of the top tier. A standout England Under-20 international, Page has already amassed 21 senior appearances for Leicester, including five starts last term as they suffered a Championship relegation.

Recent action saw him score in the Carabao Cup win against Northampton on Saturday. Discussions over a potential transfer agreement are reportedly in motion. Other clubs, including Arsenal and Aston Villa, have reportedly expressed strong interest in the 18-year-old, who marked his 18th birthday last month. Should the deal go through, Page would join a growing list of Leicester prospects who have opted to leave the club, such as 17-year-old forward Jeremy Monga, who joined Manchester City.

Page signed professional terms with Leicester in September 2025, leaving United to negotiate a transfer fee with the League One side. At the time of his contract signing, Leicester hailed him as "one of the brightest talents in our system." He made his senior debut against Huddersfield Town in August 2025 and quickly became a breakout star in his debut season.
