Adun Seberang Takir letak jawatan timbalan ketua Bersatu Terengganu

Khazan Che Mat, Adun Seberang Takir, has relinquished his position as the deputy president of Bersatu Terengganu, following Razali Idris' resignation from the presidency. This move comes as other members, including Adun Telemong Zawawi Ismail and Adun Hulu Besut Husaimi Hussin, have also announced their intention to step down from their respective leadership roles.

Surat peletakan jawatan, or resignation letters, will be dispatched next week. The decision to resign and refuse to serve as the president of Bersatu Terengganu stems from Khazan's consideration of the opinions of his fellow assembly members. He also stated that he has no desire to hold the position of president of Bersatu Terengganu after Razali's resignation.

Khazan mentioned that he was not seeking the position and joined Bersatu in 2016 at Razali's invitation, who is also an exco member of the state government, according to Utusan Malaysia. Khazan also mentioned that Bersatu is slow in acting to fill the void in the deputy district president position, particularly connecting Besut and Hulu Terengganu.

When Razali announced his resignation, he did not provide a reason for stepping down from the position he has held for ten years.
