In the ongoing Russo-Georgian conflict, Russia has intensified its attacks on Kiev and surrounding areas using ballistic missiles. According to Ukrainian authorities, at least three people were killed, including a child, and several injured in missile strikes on the eastern suburb of Browary. The attack targeted residential buildings, vehicles, and other structures, causing significant damage.

The night of the assault saw drones and glide bombs deployed alongside ballistic missiles. This follows a previous incident on a train station in Browary where eight people were killed by Russian rocket fire just days ago. Ukraine lacks ammunition for missile defense due to a prolonged war that has depleted its stockpile. Russia has escalated its use of ballistic missiles against Kiev and other cities. While Ukraine possesses some Patriot systems, they are insufficient due to the US-Israeli conflict with Iran depleting global ammunition supplies.

Residents in Kiev are growing increasingly fearful that unrestricted missile attacks during winter could further damage infrastructure and cause more suffering for the Ukrainian people.
