In new Russian airstrikes on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and its surroundings, at least three people have been killed and several injured, according to authorities. Among the three victims in the eastern suburb of Browary was also a child, the news portal "The Kyiv Independent" wrote, citing Kyiv's military governor Tymur Tkatschenko. Two adults and a child were also injured in the attack. In addition, a residential building, several other buildings and cars were damaged, according to the report.

In the nightly wave of attacks on Ukrainian cities, ballistic missiles, drones and glide bombs were used. Just a few days ago, eight people were killed by Russian rocket fire at a train station in Browary. The current wave of attacks on Wednesday night with numerous deaths in Kyiv and its surroundings had once again exposed Ukraine's current defenselessness against ballistic missiles launched by the invaders.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian army used dozens of ballistic missiles of various types, none of which could be intercepted. Ukraine lacks ammunition for missile defense.
