Russian attacks across Ukraine kill at least 12, injure 81

Russian attacks across Ukraine have claimed at least 12 lives and left 82 injured within the span of a single day, according to local authorities. The latest assault targeted Kyiv and its surroundings, with the Ukrainian Air Force reporting that Russia launched six Iskander-M ballistic missiles and S-400 surface-to-air missiles.

Despite these efforts, no missiles were successfully intercepted during the overnight raid. Ukrainian forces deployed 151 drones to counter the attack, neutralizing 135 of them with electronic warfare.

Among the casualties, three individuals were killed in Kyiv Oblast's Brovary district, including a grandmother, grandfather, and their three-year-old grandson. The parents and 15-year-old brother of the youngest victim were among the four wounded in Pukhivka village, as well as a neighbor who came to assist. The debris from the projectiles damaged a house and vehicles, and a fire erupted in a non-residential building.

The Ukrainian military administration in Kyiv reported that one person was killed, and four others were injured by the overnight strike. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, three lives were lost, and four others were wounded. In Kharkiv Oblast, two fatalities and seven injuries were reported. Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast witnessed the death of one person and 15 injuries, while Kherson Oblast saw the loss of two lives and 26 injuries, including a child.

Odesa's FC Chornomorets football stadium, a target of Russian aggression, saw two casualties due to the attack.
