His health issues led to intense criticism, particularly after he abandoned his re-election bid following a poorly received debate against Donald Trump.

Joe Biden disclosed his prostate cancer diagnosis in May of the previous year, less than four months after leaving the White House. Hunter acknowledged that the news has been difficult for the family, stating, "It's really sad to watch." He added that he wishes his father would complain more about his health, as it appears to be worsening.

Despite his father's declining health, Hunter emphasized that Joe Biden continues to speak publicly about the issues he holds dear, driven by his strong belief in the country. The former president is set to publish a memoir, "Promise Me, America," after the upcoming mid-term elections.
