Atiq Ahmed’s son killed in road accident en route to meet jailed brother in Jhansi

Abaan Ahmed, the son of former gangster Atiq Ahmed, tragically lost his life in a road accident in Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday. The young man was en route to meet his older brother Ali Ahmed, who is currently incarcerated in the Jhansi district jail. According to police reports, the incident occurred in the vicinity of Poonch police station when Abaan's speeding vehicle lost control and collided with a road divider. The force of the collision was so intense that the front section of the car was severely damaged.

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene and assisted in rescuing the passengers trapped inside the mangled vehicle. Abaan, along with two other individuals in the car, were promptly taken to a nearby hospital. Tragically, Abaan succumbed to his injuries upon arrival. The two other passengers sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment, with their condition yet to be confirmed.

Sources indicate that the fatal journey was intended for Abaan to visit his elder brother Ali Ahmed, who is serving a prison sentence due to involvement in various criminal activities. Atiq Ahmed, a former gangster and politician, lost his life along with his brother Ashraf Ahmed in April 2023 when they were assassinated at close range in Prayagraj while under police escort for a medical examination.
