We’ve stabilised the economy – Asiedu Nketiah says NDC has laid foundation for jobs and growth

National Chairman of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has stated that the government has established a solid foundation for economic growth and job creation by stabilising key aspects of the economy. Nketiah expressed confidence that the NDC can maintain its political momentum and retain power, based on the progress made under the party's administration.

On JoyNews' PM Express, Nketiah expressed satisfaction with the government's performance since taking office. He highlighted the improvement in economic fundamentals as the foundation for meaningful development, noting that stabilisation is crucial for job creation and business expansion. The NDC leader detailed the government's achievements in controlling the cedi's depreciation, reducing inflation, and improving key economic indicators such as the debt-to-GDP ratio and recurrent expenditure.

He emphasised that economic stability is vital for businesses to access affordable capital, reduce interest rates, and invest in growth. Nketiah also pointed out that the government is working towards creating an investment-friendly environment by developing infrastructure, including road construction and other projects.
