Bombing at Moscow restaurant kills 3: officials

A homemade explosive device detonated at a restaurant in Kudrinskaya Square, Moscow on Saturday, resulting in three deaths and 21 injuries, according to Russia's national anti-terrorism committee. The victims included a woman who carried the device into the restaurant, a security agent who attempted to stop her, and a customer. The injuries sustained by the 21 wounded individuals varied in severity.

Moscow police and forensic specialists were present at the scene following the incident. Images circulated on Russian Telegram channels depicting fire engines and ambulances outside the building. Moscow has experienced several terrorist attacks in recent times. Since the commencement of the conflict in Ukraine in 2022, the Ukrainian secret service has been implicated in the assassination or attempted assassination of Russian military officers and public figures who support the war effort.
