Vice-President Kashim Shettima has stated that Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi has squandered the goodwill he once enjoyed. Speaking in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, during a presidential campaign rally for President Bola Tinubu, Shettima accused Obi of using "lies and bogus statistics."
According to Daily Post Nigeria, Shettima claimed Obi has run himself out of the presidential race and no longer excites the public, instead only raising suspicions. Shettima also alleged that Obi sneaked out of the country to rest and may have avoided Lagos and Abuja upon his arrival back in the country.
