Meghan Markle’s father arrested, charged over child abuse material

Thomas Markle Sr, the father of Meghan Markle, has been arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Florida, US, over allegations of possessing child sexual abuse material. The arrest, confirmed by a Justice Department official, was reportedly based on investigations into allegedly discovered child sexual abuse material in the Philippines and Mexico.

Thomas Markle Jr, the son, discovered and reported the images to authorities, leading to the arrest of his father. The police recovered files containing suspected child sexual abuse and exploitation material, though no direct evidence linking Markle Sr to the acts has been established. Meghan Markle has denied the allegations, expressing shock and hurt over the accusations.
