Tolu Arokodare, the striker for Super Eagles, has been nominated twice for Ajax's Goal of the Month award for October 2026. He earned the first nomination for a goal against Atalanta in the UEFA Conference League, scored three minutes from time. The second nomination came for a header in Ajax's 1-0 win over AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie. Arokodare, a 25-year-old who joined Ajax on a season-long loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in July, faces tough competition as Ouazane also has two nominations.
