3 storylines for Alabama vs. LSU in massive Week 10 showdown
Alabama travels to LSU on Saturday in a game loaded with potential storylines. Here are three of the biggest for the Tide to watch this weekend.
Three key storylines to watch for in the upcoming Alabama vs. LSU game:
1. Head Coach Rivalry: This marks the first time Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer will face off against LSU head coach Lane Kiffin. DeBoer enters the matchup with a perfect 2-0 record against LSU, while Kiffin has never beaten the Crimson Tide in his coaching career.
2. Home vs. Away Performance: Alabama's offense struggled during their last away game, only managing 201 total yards, four turnovers, and five sacks against Tennessee. The Tigers' defense, ranked among the best in the SEC on various statistics and nationally for sacks, could pose a significant challenge for Alabama's struggling offense on the road.
3. Defensive Stand: LSU's quarterback Sam Leavitt has had issues turning the ball over this season, leading the SEC with eight interceptions. Alabama's defense, which shares the SEC lead with 12 interceptions, will look to capitalize on Leavitt's struggles and force further mistakes.
