Olivia Rodrigo has surprised her fans by announcing her first-ever Christmas song titled 'Take Me Home (4 Christmas)'. The pop star revealed the news on Instagram, sharing the artwork of the single that features her in a red Santa hat and matching lipstick. The song will arrive on November 5, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) for pre-order.
Rodrigo's third studio album, 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love', released in June, has been a huge success, with her single 'Drop Dead' topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She has also been actively involved in charity work, launching the Daisy Chain Fields festival in August, which raised $20 million for women's charities.
Rodrigo's Unraveled arena tour followed shortly after. As the year progresses, other artists such as Hilary Duff and Alanis Morissette are also releasing their holiday music.
