Razer Teases What Looks Like A Signature Edition Raiju Controller

Razer has unveiled a teaser image of a controller that is anticipated to be revealed on November 3rd. The controller appears to be a PlayStation-licensed Raiju entry, with L1 and L2 shoulder buttons and a trigger. This is beneficial as it preserves the left analogue stick in its correct position. However, the controller's exterior design seems to be a wireframe shell, which typically results in higher prices.

Razer has previously released Signature Edition controllers, such as the Viper Mini Signature Edition, which features a similar wireframe appearance due to the use of magnesium instead of plastic for a more rigid frame. This design choice, however, exposes the internal electronics to potential damage from sweat, particularly from palms.

In the teaser, the wireframe grille is clearly visible between the right analogue stick and the rubberised grip, but it appears that the exposed electronics may still be vulnerable. The teaser hints at a more solid construction beneath the shell, with a prominent rubberised texture on the left grip. The controller also features the familiar L1 and L2 buttons and what appears to be the M1 button, though it is blurred out.

At this stage, there are only questions remaining: whether this will be a Signature Edition of the existing Razer Raiju V3 Pro or part of the V4 family's launch, and the price.
