The best Enshrouded base locations for picturesque vistas or strategic strongholds
From the Springlands to Veilwater Basin, these are my favorite places to build.
Enshrouded players have a plethora of base locations to choose from, all boasting picturesque views. Embervale's real estate options are plentiful, but scenic waterfront properties are the author's preferred choice over strategic positioning. With numerous fast travel points in the world, the author doesn't suffer much from choosing form over function.
However, they appreciate having conveniently placed mines or higher elevations for a great running jump with the glider. The author's map is filled with markers highlighting their favorite spots, so they might as well share them.
1. Springlands: Fort Kelvin, a pre-built town for renovating, sits on the northern border of Springlands, near Revelwood and just west of the Pillars of Creation. It offers a sprawling abandoned town with a central square, underground tunnels, and its own pre-built tower. Restoring the whole place is a massive undertaking, but it's a lovely fixer-upper for those willing to put in the work.
Pondside ruins, an empty lot for building west of Fort Kelvin, is the author's personal favorite. The island in the middle of the water provides a perfect spot for building, with a pier that can be expanded. Just be cautious about enemy patrols that occasionally pass through the area.
2. Revelwood and Blackmire: Glenwood's End, neighboring a waterfall, features an empty lot for building. The waterfall is an RPG-worthy feature, complete with a fancy secret alcove. Blue Goblet Tavern, a pre-built tavern for renovating, offers a hilltop location with more sunlight than most places in Revelwood. Plentiful ore and clay are nearby, making it a convenient spot for building.
3. Nomad Highlands and Kindlewastes: The top of the Pillars of Creation offers another scenic location for base building.
