To arrange an Uber ride for another individual, begin by opening the Uber application on your mobile device and signing into your account. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and confirm that your account is active and your preferred payment method is set up. When booking, input the passenger’s intended pickup address rather than your own location.
After entering the pickup location, specify the passenger’s desired destination by typing the address or place name. Review the estimated fare and different ride options before selecting a booking option for someone else, if offered. If not, provide the passenger’s name and phone number when prompted. Confirm all details, including pickup and destination locations, ride type, fare, and payment method, before requesting the trip.
Once the driver accepts the request, inform the passenger about the driver’s identification details, such as name, vehicle model, color, and registration number. Share the estimated arrival time and trip status or link, if available. Double-check the vehicle details with the passenger before they board. Stay accessible during the journey for any assistance needed by either the driver or passenger, and ensure the passenger reaches their destination safely.
