Singapore to host BTS THE CITY ARIRANG, first and only stop of citywide fan experience in SE-Asia
Activities are planned from Dec 1 to 31.
Singapore will host BTS THE CITY ARIRANG, the first and only citywide fan experience in Southeast Asia, from December 1-31, 2021. The Singapore Tourism Board (STB), in collaboration with HYBE, unveiled plans on October 19 to transform the city into an immersive, multi-precinct experience.
The festivities will include a themed light and music show at Jewel Changi Airport's Rain Vortex Landmark, a takeover of Exploria, an immersive multimedia attraction at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, and an art trail at National Gallery Singapore. The National Museum of Singapore will feature light and sound installations inspired by BTS music, while Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa will host a fireworks display choreographed to the band's music.
Additional experiences include a themed race and immersive installations on Sentosa Island, interactive experiences across multiple themed zones at The Kallang, and closing night takeovers at Zouk Singapore, complete with dedicated music and experiential programming. From December 8-22, landmarks in Marina Bay and along the Singapore River will light up each night in ARIRANG red.
First staged in Seoul in March, BTS THE CITY ARIRANG has since been held in Las Vegas, Busan, London, and New York.
