GameSir Nova Lite 2 review
The best deal in controllers at $30 or less right now.
The GameSir Nova Lite 2 is an affordable wireless controller designed for PC gaming. At just $30, it offers a range of features that make it a compelling choice for those on a budget. It features Hall effect thumbsticks, a mechanical D-pad, trigger stops, and programmable rear buttons. The controller competes with the more popular and expensive GameSir G7 Pro, but offers many of the same features at a fraction of the cost.
While the plastic casing may not feel as premium as higher-end controllers, it is durable and provides a secure grip. The battery life is rated at 600 mAh, which should be sufficient for most gaming sessions. The Nova Lite 2 supports 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for a range of over 20 meters (line of sight) when using the 2.4 GHz dongle. The triggers offer both Hall effect and micro switch modes, while the D-pad is mechanical and provides a satisfying click in each direction.
Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of advanced customization options and a standard membrane face buttons, the Nova Lite 2 offers excellent value for money. It is an ideal choice for gamers who primarily use a mouse and keyboard and only occasionally play singleplayer games. However, those seeking more extensive customization options or advanced features may want to consider the more expensive GameSir G7 Pro.
