Even Sexyy Red Is Confused Why Storm Doesn't Have More Legendary Skins

Even Storm, a female character in Marvel Rivals, holds the distinction of having only one Legendary skin among her appearances. This fact has prompted a significant amount of criticism, leading prominent rapper Sexyy Red to voice her concerns on the game’s social media. In a tweet, Sexyy Red questioned when Storm would receive another Legendary skin, asserting, “When y’all gon give Storm her legendary skin?”

Following this, fans on social media expressed their astonishment at Sexyy Red's interest in the game, while many others supported her call for additional Storm skins from the developers, NetEase and Marvel Games. NetEase and Marvel Games were already cognizant of the debate surrounding Storm's skin situation, as they had addressed the issue in an August post.

This post came just 24 hours after Storm's swimsuit skin, Sacred Skies, was released as an Epic skin. Many fans were disappointed that Storm’s Sacred Skies skin was the sole non-Legendary skin among female characters. In response to player feedback, the official Marvel Rivals Twitter/X account announced that they would upgrade Sacred Skies skin to Legendary for free.

However, the upgrade is still under development, and fans are eagerly anticipating more Legendary skins for Storm. Speculations suggest that upcoming skins from a crossover with Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls could feature Storm and Iron Man. If confirmed, this wouldn’t be Marvel Rivals’ first collaboration with Fighting Souls, as Wolverine and Logan have already received unique skins from the franchise.

Interestingly, Storm isn’t the only female character with a limited selection of Legendary skins, with Jubilee, Black Widow, and Angela also having only one each. Some fans believe Emma Frost stands out as the character with the most extensive skin collection, sparking discussions about the possibility of her sharing her wardrobe with the other female characters.
