President Bola Tinubu has cautioned politicians in Ekiti State against declaring their ambitions to succeed Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the 2030 gubernatorial term. The President made his remarks during the inauguration of Oyebanji for his second term, as he pledged to focus on industrialization, job creation, and economic growth.
Tinubu emphasized that premature succession campaigns could hinder effective governance and urged politicians to support the current administration rather than vying for the governorship prematurely.
