The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has permitted former captain Mohammad Rizwan and opener Imamul Haq to represent their respective teams in the sixth round of the President's Trophy Grade-I first-class tournament, according to a report by Dawn. Both players were under investigation by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) for alleged betting and gambling activities following Pakistan's defeat in the second Test in England earlier this year.
Rizwan's participation was initially denied due to his involvement in the NCCIA probe, but he was later allowed to play domestic cricket after receiving a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the PCB. Imamul Haq's return to domestic cricket was confirmed by his team, the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL).
