Yami Gautam's horror-comedy Nayyi Navelli is currently in the lead at the box office, surpassing Rajkummar Rao's courtroom drama Prahaar. Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film has received mixed reviews on social media. According to Sacnilk, Nayyi Navelli took in Rs 4 crore on Day 2, bringing its total India net collection to Rs 7.25 crore and its gross to Rs 8.63 crore.
Overseas, the movie collected Rs 75 lakh on Day 2, bringing its total overseas gross to Rs 1.50 crore and its worldwide gross to Rs 10.13 crore. Despite a budget of Rs 30-35 crore, the film's worldwide gross after two days indicates a slow start. However, the second-day performance provides some hope, and sustained growth over the next few days could bolster its box office prospects.
