Castella searching for a home, sweet home
This charming fellow is Castella, one of three youngsters who came to ARK in August along with their mother when their owner moved to no-pet housing.
Meet Castella, a 1½-year-old, fluffy, red and white canine who has been searching for a permanent home with ARK, an animal rescue organization. Castella, along with his siblings and their mother, arrived at ARK in August after their owner found a new place to live, one where pets are not allowed. Initially, the trio was quite timid, often hiding from sight, but they have gradually grown more adventurous, venturing out to explore their limited surroundings.
Food and interactive toys like pussy willow sticks have proven to be effective in coaxing the shy pups out of their shell. With patience and care, Castella and his siblings are expected to form strong bonds with their future human companions. If you are considering adoption, reach out to ARK by emailing [email protected] or calling 050-1557-2763, available Monday through Saturday in both English and Japanese.
Animal Refuge Kansai, a non-profit organization founded by U.K. native Elizabeth Oliver, rescues and rehomes abandoned animals in Kansai and Tokyo. All animals in their care are vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Prospective adopters must pass a screening process before meeting the animals. For more information, visit ARK's website at www.arkbark.net.
