KN Holdings honoured for ESG efforts in Vietnam

KN Holdings, a Vietnamese investment conglomerate, has been honored for its commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in the country's green transition. The company, with a history stretching back nearly 50 years, has embedded ESG factors into its diverse investment sectors, including real estate, renewable energy, and industrial infrastructure.

Vietnam is actively pursuing a net-zero emissions target by 2050, and KN Holdings' efforts in this area have been recognized through its inclusion in a prestigious ESG list. The company's success in the renewable energy sector is exemplified by its solar power projects in Khanh Hoa province, with a total capacity of 200MWp currently operational and plans for further expansion.

KN Holdings is also developing a green, smart, and ecological industrial city, KN Industrial City (KNIC), with a focus on modern infrastructure, clean energy, and amenities. The company's social responsibility initiatives, which have contributed $115.4 million to various causes, reflect its dedication to integrating investment activities with community development.

KoCham, a Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KN Holdings to collaborate on eco-industrial parks in Dong Nai province, further highlighting the company's commitment to sustainable development.
