John Wilson Is Making a Harry Styles Tour Documentary
The History of Concrete director will helm a film about Harry’s Together, Together tour, Variety reports
John Wilson, known for his work on The History of Concrete and HBO's How To With John Wilson, is set to direct a documentary about Harry Styles' current tour. The project, produced by Universal Pictures Content Group, Peanut World Pictures, and Styles himself, will chronicle the singer's 30-night residency at New York's Madison Square Garden. The residency, which began in August and will conclude at the end of the month, is the venue's longest single-engagement to date.
Styles has been promoting his latest album, Kiss All the Time, which features the single "Disco, Occasionally," released in March. Since the album's release, Styles has been actively performing, appearing at the BRIT Awards and Saturday Night Live. Despite this, Wilson's documentary will mark his first attempt at an artist documentary. Prior to this, he directed the music video for Bon Iver's "Everything Is Peaceful Love" for the singer-songwriter's album SABLE, fABLE.
