Harry Styles Enlists John Wilson for Documentary About Madison Square Garden Residency

John Wilson, well-known for his documentary series "The History Of Concrete," has recently embarked on a new project to document pop musician Harry Styles. According to Variety, Wilson has been following Styles around with his camera for the past two months, filming a potential documentary that could be released theatrically at Universal. The film is said to blend concert footage with "authentic human stories" of those involved in the tour, encompassing the singer, his fans, and the behind-the-scenes crew.

Wilson's decision to follow Styles, a seemingly down-to-earth and approachable individual, raises questions about the project's direction. While it's possible that Styles might have approached Wilson due to his unique storytelling style, Wilson's penchant for focusing on specific subjects and his distinctive approach to documenting his chosen individuals could lead to some interesting conflicts between the conventional concert film narrative and Wilson's idiosyncratic approach.

Despite these potential challenges, fans are eagerly anticipating the outcome of this unusual collaboration between the filmmaker and the pop star. Whether it results in a conventional concert film or an in-depth exploration of the peculiarities of following Harry Styles, one thing is for sure: the project promises to be a fascinating watch.
