‘Jaga dalam kain sendiri’, Veteran Umno bidas Mujahid

Veteran Umno member Mujahid Yusof Rawa was advised by former party Secretary Mustapha Yaakub not to worry about the affairs of Umno. The PETALING JAYA report states that Mujahid questioned Umno's decision to include the issue of the Yang Di Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, in the party's agenda. Mustapha emphasized that Umno will handle matters internally without external interference.

He advised Mujahid to refrain from getting involved in internal parties' affairs, saying, "I urge Mujahid not to worry about Umno. We are responsible for our own affairs. Avoid stirring up matters in other people's affairs." Mustapha also urged Mujahid to focus on the PRN Melaka campaign to help Amanah's candidates win. The pressure on Mujahid to explain whether Umno knew about or approved of a letter sent by Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister Ismail Lasim to the Yang Di Pertuan Besar Raja-Raja, in connection with Tuanku Muhriz's issue, was prompted by several videos circulating on social media showing Tuanku Muhriz telling a group of individuals that Ismail had sent a letter to the Yang Di Pertuan Besar, claiming he was no longer the Yang Di Pertuan Besar.

Mujahid commented on this matter on the previous day, stating that the footage of Tuanku Muhriz's angry tirade against Ismail was not a small matter that Umno could ignore.
