‘Jaga dalam kain sendiri’, Veteran Umno bidas Mujahid

Veteran Umno member Mustapha Yaakub has advised Amanah Mujahid President-elect Yusof Rawa not to worry about the party's affairs. The veteran explained that Umno is able to manage its own matters without interference from others. "I advise Mujahid not to burden himself with the concerns of Umno. 'We look after our own affairs. Keep to your own business and avoid meddling in the affairs of others,'" he told FMT.

Mustapha also urged Mujahid to focus on the PRN Melaka campaign to help Amanah's candidate secure a victory. He discussed Mujahid's pressure to explain whether Umno knew about or approved of a letter sent by Negeri Sembilan Chief Minister Ismail Lasim to the Raja-Raja Bharat ruler, regarding Tuanku Muhriz's position. This pressure followed several videos circulating on social media, in which Tuanku Muhriz is seen telling a group of individuals that Ismail had sent a letter to the Raja-Raja Bharat ruler, stating that he is no longer the Yang Dipertuan Besar.

Mujahid also questioned Ismail's intention in wanting to meet him. Yesterday, Mujahid stated that the recording of Tuanku Muhriz's angry rebuke of Ismail is not a trivial matter that Umno can afford to ignore.
