U.S. President Donald Trump has endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for re-election, hailing the leader as a "Great Warrior Prime Minister" and a steadfast ally in the fight against Iran's aggression. In an open letter on his Truth Social platform, Trump praised Netanyahu's resilience in the face of domestic and international opposition, particularly his leadership in confronting Iran's hostile policies.
The endorsement came amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran, with Trump warning that the United States might have to assume sole responsibility for dealing with Tehran if Israel chose a different prime minister. Trump emphasized Netanyahu's unwavering strength and steadfast commitment to Israel and the United States, stating that the Israeli leader had grown stronger despite facing significant challenges.
The endorsement reflects the deep relationship between the two countries and their shared commitment to countering Iran's threats.
